Here at Roundup High School we have many outstanding students. This week the journalism staff has chosen two senior students to spotlight for a week. Both of the students are well known throughout the school. One is a varsity cheerleader and has frequently been on honor roll all throughout school. And the other is known all over school and is friendly to everyone. This week’s spotlight students are Makayla Kelly and Robbie Gustafason.
Makayla Kelly moved to Roundup the beginning of her senior year but had lived here in grade school for a while. Makayla Kelly is an outstanding participant in the RHS varsity cheerleader. Makayla Kelly has been in cheer throughout all of her high school years. Robbie Gustafason has been going to Roundup high school since 7th grade. He is known for the class clown or a goof ball. He is a nice person who always makes people smile and laugh. There is nothing not to like about him. He has come a long way through the past years and is now a senior. We interviewed the two senior to see what their take was on how they see life. We did a few questions to better know these students. Question 1: What are your plans after graduation? M: Go to Rocky College and go into pre-physical therapy. R: To go work with his dad and Question 2: What is your goal to reach by the end of your senior year? M: To pass and graduate. R: To pass. Question 3: What will you miss the most after high school? M: My friends. R: Some friends. Question 4: What is your favorite memory of high school? M: Cheer for sure. R: Figuring out who I am. Question 5: What do you want to be when you grow up? M: A Physical therapist. R: A rancher. Question 6: Do you have any advice for the freshmen coming up? M: Do your homework. R: Don’t do what I did my freshman year. These two senior are wonderful students in the Roundup high school community. We are grateful to have them in our school. We are sad to let them go but we are excited to see what they do with their life.
